The process begins with an assessment of your mouth and teeth to build a treatment plan. You may be required to have a dental CT or panoramic X-ray. Depending upon the condition of your gum or bone, you may need a bone graft, which is done prior to the implantation.
The implant is positioned in the bone. This process is relatively quick and performed in the office under local anesthestic. Your gums and mouth are given time to heal, and for the implant to integrate with the bone— between three to six months —before the next phase.
During the next phase, your dentist or oral surgeon “uncovers” the implant, places an abutment on top of it. An impression is made of your mouth, so the lab technician can make an accurate crown or other prosthetic (restoration) to fit over your implant —and restore your natural smile.

Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special type of x-ray equipment used when regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient. Your doctor may use this technology to produce three dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan.
The study model & mock up are done for future estimation of end result .
